Scholarship Program
Supporting Education Through Life’s Toughest Challenges
The Jon William Gerretsen Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to college students whose families have been impacted by cancer. We understand that when a parent faces a cancer diagnosis, the entire family is affected—emotionally, physically, and financially.
We believe higher education is one of the most significant milestones in a young person’s life, laying the foundation for future success and providing the tools for independence. This scholarship ensures that a parent’s illness doesn’t derail a student’s educational dreams.
Our first scholarships will be awarded for the Spring 2027 semester. Awards range from $5,000 to $10,000 per semester and are renewable based on academic performance and continued eligibility.
